What time is check in and check out?

Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 11am.  Our front desk is open from 9am to 8pm - if you think you may be arriving later than 8pm please make a note in your booking or contact us so we can make arrangements to accommodate.  

Is The Ashwood pet friendly?

We do not allow pets at The Ashwood however many of the cottages at our sister property Deer Park Lodge are pet friendly.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Upon cancellation at The Ashwood Inn your applicable deposit of $50 per room will be non-refundable. In the case of cancellation within 48 hours of your scheduled stay a charge of 1 night plus tax will be applied.

What is your Guarantee Policy?

A deposit is required to guarantee your room reservation. All rooms are non-smoking, guests smoking inside or within 10m of any building will be charged a fine of up to $250. Please note that in case of any damage incurred during your stay we reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for repair or replacement. Rooms are expected to be left in good condition, any room or cottage requiring excessive cleaning upon checkout will be charged an additional $50 fee.

Can I get to the beach from The Ashwood?

We have beach access just across Highway 21 at Deer Park Lodge (less that 5 minutes walk).  The beach is accessible by a staircase as we are located on the bluffs.  Ashwood guests are welcome to use the Deer Park Beach, the only exception being if we are hosting a wedding at the cottages in which case we respectfully ask that guests use one of the several public beaches - the nearest being just a minute's drive (or 10 minute walk) away at the marina.
